HAROLD PRINCE THEATRE
The Philadelphia Presenting Project, a program funded by the Virginia S. Mulconroy Fund of The Philadelphia Foundation, provides area performing artists and organizations, and community groups with program-related subsidies supporting their performances at the Annenberg Center. The following participants were selected on a competitive basis, chosen by an outside panel of performing arts experts.

Ligeti's
Ramifications, Bernstein's Arias and Barcarolles, and Rochberg's

conducting debut with this work.

Sruti, The India Music and Dance Society
Priya Govind will be presenting 'traditional Indian repertoire' accompanied by a
live orchestra.

Shafaatullah Khan hails from an illustrious Indian musical family which has
established the distinctive vocal-influenced style of Sitar.

Dancefusion
Dancefusion will mark its 20th Anniversary with two powerful concerts, featuring
the reconstruction of historic works by legendary choreographers Anna Sokolow
and Mary Anthony along with a retrospective of choreography from the Dancefusion
repertory.

FIDDLEKICKS
presents
FiddleKicks brings Appalachian clogging to life with a whoop and a holler,
dancing to the driving rhythms of live old-time music. Other forms of percussive
dance and music are also featured.

The Bach Festival of Philadelphia
"One of the most talented of the young German pianists" according to
Herbert van Karajan, Naxos-artist Markus Pawlik will delight the audience with a
chromatic (greek for "colorful") program juxtaposing Bach's Chromatic
Fantasy & Fugue and works by Reger, Liszt, and Busoni inspired by Bach.

Chamber Music Now!
A multi-media recital featuring cellist Ovidiu Marinescu performing new music by
the city's brightest young composers presented alongside original films about
their home, Philadelphia.
